Bushveld Botanical™ is set within a wildlife sanctuary and biosphere region 40km north east of Pretoria. This bushveld region known as Boekenhoutskloof, is surrounded by over 300,000 hectares of private game farms and the Dinokeng Game Reserve is at its epicentre. Bushveld Botanical primarily produces raw organic honey from its various apiaries within a this reserve.
The planting of supplementary vegetation amongst abundant wildlife is an interesting challenge. After many years of trial and error, through harsh seasons, we have created an oasis where all life forms in this ecosystem can flourish in a perfect symbiotic relationship.
